The Subban Conspiracy

P.K.Subban is my favorite hockey player. He is electrifying , fast , robust , has a  booming shot and yeah he’s black. He’s bringing the swag that black athletes has brought to the other more popular sports for years. But the problem is that , PK has became the first black hockey superstar and it seems to bother people.

The easiest way to complain about how Subban is treated is to point at racism. Quickly black fans felt that he was treated unfairly. I refused to take that route. When Therrien was benching him or just not making him play , i was like ” Nah he gotta learn to follow instructions”. When the Habs GM Marc Bergevin refused to give him the big bucks right away i was like: ” He gotta prove he can do it consistently.”

But now , we are witnessing an all out war against his persona. Medias on the internet , radios and TV are in unison to use all of their power  and influence
to kick Subban outta Montreal.

Why? Is it because its a “white” sport and the fact that he dominates it make them mad? Is it because he became the highest paid player in the history of the team? Is it because he donated the highest donation in the history of Montreal  for an athlete? Is it because of his flashy risky plays? or maybe his strong personality?

Well its mix of all of the above . But one thing is for sure , PK will never give a ****. Keep calm , he is winning regardless of haters.
